“The Father” at Clubhouse 5
On Monday, August 9, at 4 p.m., come to Clubhouse 5 main lounge to cool off and enjoy “The Father.” In this 2020 film that earned Anthony Hopkins the Best Actor award at the 93rd Academy Awards and won Best Adapted Screenplay, a man refuses all assistance from his daughter as he ages. As he tries to make sense of his changing circumstances, he begins to doubt his loved ones, his own mind and even the fabric of his reality. Also stars Olivia Colman, Rufus Sewell, Mark Gatiss, Imogen Poots and Olivia Williams.
On August 23, Clubhouse 5 will screen “News of the World.”
Movies are free, but reservations through ActiveNet are required one week in advance. Limited seating. No concessions will be served, but residents may bring their own.
