Vaccine Supply Set to Ramp Up
The U.S. inches ever closer to the hope of more normalcy in our lives. On Tuesday, President Biden said that the U.S. will produce enough vaccines for every adult in the U.S. by the end of May.
Just a few weeks ago, he stated that timeline was the end of July.
Biden said his administration is invoking the Defense Production Act to boost production of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which received emergency use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration this past weekend.
Pharmaceutical competitors Johnson & Johnson and Merck have partnered to boost the former’s vaccine production.
