Pool 1 Boiler Replacement Underway
The Pool 1 heat exchanger (boiler) requires replacement, which will take approximately four weeks to receive, install and reconfigure.
This development affects pool water temperature; however, Pool 1 will remain open. Current pool water temperatures are in the low 70s, but temperatures will continue to decrease and, at some point, become too low to allow swimming.
Staff will cover the pool nightly to retain as much heat as possible, and the Recreation and Special Events Department will keep residents apprised of progress.
