October 26 Is National Prescription Medication Take Back Day
The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day by the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
Village Residents can bring unwanted, unused and expired prescription medications for disposal on Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Laguna Woods City Hall at 24264 El Toro Road. No sharps, marijuana or pressure canisters, please. The event will be held rain or shine. For more information, call 714-647-4133.
