Don’t Miss Out on Mail When You Move in or Out
Moving in or out permanently or temporarily? Be sure to file your new address with the United States Postal Service (USPS) and Laguna Woods Village.
Notify the USPS and Laguna Woods Village at the same time at least 10 days in advance to avoid delays and mail returned to sender from the post office.
Be sure to clean out your mailbox. Once the mailbox is full, the USPS will pull the mail from the box and leave a note inside, and 10 days after that USPS will consider your unit vacant and will return your mail to the sender.
