Did You Receive a CodeRED Alert Yesterday?
Yesterday, Laguna Woods Village Good Neighbor Captains, Block Captains and staff joined millions in the annual ShakeOut earthquake drill, an annual opportunity to practice how to be safe during a large seismic event.
As part of the day’s activities, Village Management Services tested its CodeRED emergency notification system with a community-wide text/email.
If you didn’t receive a CodeRED notification, we encourage you to enroll today. CodeRED transmits brief, urgent messages to the Village community as quickly as possible via a phone call, text message or email. The system requires you to opt in by providing current contact information.
There are several ways to return the CodeRED form:
- Drop it off in person at the Community Center concierge desk.
- Mail it to the attention of the Communications Department, at 24351 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods, CA 92637.
- Visit lagunawoodsvillage.com and click on the CodeRED tab on the top of the homepage. It will take you to a form that can be filled in online (scroll down, fill in all the fields, then click the blue Submit button).
