Garden Centers Club Donate Farmers Market Proceeds each year to the Meals on Wheels Program to benefit our Residents
The Garden Centers Club Farmer’s Market takes place in July each year. Gardeners from Garden Centers 1 & 2 donate produce that we grow in our garden plots and many of the same gardener’s assist with the sale. It takes a lot of gardeners to make this project the success that it is. We have a great response from the Residents that come to purchase so we must thank them also for their support. It would not be such a success without all of you. This past year 2024 we had sales and donations totaling $2,200.00 that we donated to the ‘Meals on Wheels’ program at the Florence Sylvester Senior Center to benefit our own residents.
